What is Reiki?
Reiki is Japanese for Universal Life Force or Spiritual Essence. Broken down, Reiki is Rei which means God's Wisdom or the Higher Power and Ki which is Life Force Energy. So one could say that Reiki is "spiritually guided life force energy." Hence, it goes exactly where it's needed the most.
Reiki can be a hands-on or hands-off healing modality but usually involves light touch on the body. The healing energy flows through the practitioner to the client balancing the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual bodies. Reiki is calming and soothing and helps the body to release stress. Once stress is removed or transmuted, the body is better able to heal itself. Reiki also works on the cellular level to eliminate blocks and aid the body in restoring its natural healthy state of being. To me, Reiki is like a warm blanket on a cold day.
First Degree Reiki Class
When: Saturday, August 21st
Time: 9:30-5:00 pm
Where: Spiritual Fitness Center, 300 North Coit rd, Richardson, TX 75080
Cost: $200 (includes class materials)
I am a Reiki Master/Teacher trained in the Usui method or traditional Reiki method. I have also been attuned to the Master Level in Organic Reiki. All classes taught will follow the traditional practices. However, I will incorporate concepts from my Messengers and Masters that will assist the student in attaining a broader perspective of Reiki. It is my passion to teach with my Reiki Guides so we will be blessed with a wide range of diverse ideas and history. I look forward to teaching you this wonderful system of Love and powerful system of awakening to ones curative abilities.
In First Degree Reiki you will receive the First Degree Attunement, learn what Reiki is, learn the hand positions for self healing and healing of others, the history of Reiki and receive a manual and books for referencing. From my own experience, Reiki greatly expanded my sense of spirituality as well as providing me with a method to heal myself physically, emotionally and mentally. Reiki was one of my first steps toward my spiritual journey. Reiki is a never ending unfolding of the Me that is a part of the All That Is. Reiki is not about a doing but it about a state of being. I look forward to helping you on your journey of self discovery.
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required and due by August 14th.
Second Degree Reiki Class

In Second Degree Reiki you will receive teaching materials for learning the positions for hand placement for chair and table sessions, how to work on animals and you will be given the Reiki II symbols. You will learn what the symbols are used for, their deeper meaning and how to draw them. We will cover the First Degree information briefly and expand upon it. You will receive the Second Degree attunement, practice using the symbols and receive additional information about Reiki meditation, the 3 Pillars of Reiki and the importance of the mastery of the Pillars. Second Degree Reiki really enhanced my flow of Reiki and further prepared my vessel for the enhanced flow. Reiki was one of my first steps toward my spiritual journey. Reiki Study/Share
When: Sunday, August 8th, Oct. 24th, Nov. 28th, Dec. 19th
Time: 2:30-4:30 pm (except Aug 8th which is 2-4 pm)

Reiki Study/Share is open to anyone who has been attuned to Reiki. The first part of the meeting I will administer Reiju to the participants. Reiju is a sacred blessing that opens and clears the channel as well as strengthens the connection to Reiki. I will discuss more about Reiju at the meeting. We will talk about what we are noticing within our Practices and/or self healing sessions and at times I will give Booster Attunements to all willing to expand their current level. My Guides and I will teach concepts from Divine Source and open us up to a broader understanding of Reiki. Depending on the group size, the last part of the meeting will be to share Reiki and we will either do chair sessions or table sessions.
